My Political Statement
Ladies and gentlemen,
this wonderful country, “Germany”, of which we should all – with or without a migration background – be proud, is my homeland, my home.
My dear wife and I have been happily married for 33 years. 24 years ago we came from America to Germany. Here I studied Protestant theology. Here we made many friends. Here our two sons were born, here they took their Abitur, and both are studying law.
Here, over the past 24 years, I have helped refugees from the most varied countries of origin to integrate into their new surroundings and to abandon radical and extremist attitudes.
What do I want in Berlin?
I want to contribute to us, despite some differences, moving our society forward united poand together. I will work to ensure that our constitution and our democracy remain protected.
I want us to promote national and international tourism instead of allowing further waves of refugees.
I am of the opinion that tourism is a promising way to preserve jobs and create new ones. Tourism also offers the chance to proudly present the beauty of our country and thereby generate income.
Freedom of religion is a precious good that must be protected. However, I take the development of Islamism in our country very seriously. In the Bundestag I will make sure that our streets do not become a place where radical Islamist and antisemitic ideologies gain a foothold.
I want to ensure that all Islamist associations and organizations are reviewed again. We must ask ourselves once more whether they harm our democracy, are unconstitutional and, through their ties abroad, promote hatred, antisemitism and violence in our country. If this is confirmed, we must take measures to restrict or even stop them.
The shortage of skilled workers presents our country and our economy with major challenges. Waves of refugees in this area are not an ideal solution and bring only new challenges.
We must first look after the young people in our country. I will take care of the need for places at university and in vocational training, as well as future prospects, safety, guidance and affordable housing. We must take the situation seriously and invest in building new dormitories for young people rather than building more refugee shelters.
It is regrettable that young people decide to live outside Germany, or that companies and corporations prefer to settle abroad, because they see no future for themselves here. We must learn to be proud of our country again.
It saddens me that at the moment we attract mainly Islamists and terrorists, while at the same time we are looking for skilled workers. To win the right skilled workers for our country, I want to make sure in the Bundestag that the current asylum policy is reconsidered.
It is regrettable when people, after so many years of work and employment, have difficulty paying for and affording the smallest things in life. I want working people to be rewarded appropriately for their work, their perseverance and their economic contributions. I want to work to ensure that everyone gets the chance to pursue meaningful work and to support themselves through their own effort and labor. This should give them the opportunity to free themselves from dependence on state benefits and to contribute to the common good through their own work.
At the same time, there are opportunities to slim down some large administrative apparatuses and thereby save our tax money. We must reduce the bureaucratic burden. Every area of administration should be evaluated by independent experts in order to create more transparency and so gain insight into how things work.
The topic of cutting red tape has been discussed again and again. I finally want to put this plan into action, and that is why I want to be in the Bundestag in Berlin.
Digitalization is of great importance for our country and our economic success. However, bureaucracy is currently still an obstacle to digitalization. I want to change that through honest and transparent politics.
I listen to you attentively and I take your worries and needs seriously. I want to assure you that I will be there for you after the elections as well. At the moment I work many hours, mostly 80 hours a week, committed to democracy and to the building up of our country. My family supports me fully. I would be very grateful if you would give me your vote, so that I can bring about major change at federal level.
Thank you,
Siamak Aminmansour
